BUSY: EXPORT STRATEGY SEMINAR
This week the project team became speakers at several major business events in the city of Petrozavodsk and organized a seminar on developing an individual export strategy for a business project to enter the international market.
On December 16, the project coordinator Liana Vaguzenkova and the information support manager, Bozhko Angelika, became speakers of the 1st Forum of Social Entrepreneurs "Do Good - Karelia Inspires". Angelica gave an intensive master class on business communication and the basics of public speaking, and Liana spoke to the participants with the topic “Non-profit sector - the potential for the development of social entrepreneurship”.
On December 17, as part of the business program of the Forum of Cross-Border Cooperation, the BUSY project team, together with involved experts, held a seminar on developing an individual export strategy for entering the international market for a business project. The seminar was attended by young entrepreneurs of the city of Petrozavodsk interested in scaling their business to the international market and looking for partners in Finland.
At the seminar, Liana Vaguzenkova announced the business mission of the BUSY project, which consists of 6 steps: a series of events on the Russian and Finnish sides to find partners, develop a detailed joint business idea and participate in the largest business event in Europe, Polar Bear Pitching.
An invited expert from St. Petersburg, Alexey Zubakov, told the participants about the structure of an effective pitch to investors. The entrepreneurs in groups not only discussed the points that are most important to highlight when presenting a business project to potential investors, but also finalized the target audience of their projects.
Alexander Konovalov presented an export business card, which the participants filled out directly on the BUSY project website in the "Add a project" section.
Now all the participants are working individually with experts. All business cards of projects will be sent to colleagues in Finland to study and search for potential partners, taking into account the business area.
